A plain-language pass through the draft
An Aufhebungsvertrag can settle the end date, severance, release, leave, reference, claims, confidentiality, and return obligations in a few dense pages. We identify what each clause appears designed to do and where the practical effect is unclear.
Scope
The hour covers one agreement of up to eight pages plus the relevant employment contract. We create an issues list for you to raise with the employer or a qualified adviser. The session excludes legal certification, tax calculations, social-security advice, and representation.
Particular care before signing
An exit agreement may have consequences for unemployment benefits and may waive important claims. Do not sign merely because a draft carries a short internal deadline. Obtain qualified legal advice where rights, enforceability, or benefit consequences are at stake.
