Prepare the whole exit, not one number
A severance amount matters, but so do the end date, paid release, bonus treatment, unused holiday, reference language, non-compete terms, equipment return, and communication of the departure. This session turns those connected points into a practical brief.
Included
We review the employer’s current proposal, your employment chronology, contractual compensation, and the issues you rank as most important. Together we develop a priority list, acceptable trade-offs, factual questions, and a calm opening for the discussion. You receive a two-page preparation note after the call.
This is negotiation preparation, not representation. We do not contact the employer, guarantee a settlement amount, calculate tax advice, or replace advice from a Rechtsanwalt or Steuerberater.
What to bring
Provide the proposal, contract, recent payslip with unnecessary identifiers removed, bonus rules if relevant, and any written communication about the exit. Consider in advance whether timing, reference wording, release from duties, or compensation is your strongest practical concern.
After the session
You should be able to explain your preferred package, identify what you can exchange, and recognise wording that needs specialist legal or tax review before signature.
